Janis Fulton
Working in oils and acrylics, Janis Fulton paints the natural environment, still life and florals using vibrant colour and texture. Painting from life, studies and her photos, Janis uses brush and painting knife to bring her paintings to life. She also enjoys painting en plein air locally, in Quebec and Nova Scotia and loves the energy it gives her work.
A transplanted Nova Scotian, Janis left a career in Lab Technology to study Interior Design in Ottawa. Following a lifelong need to be creative, she has been involved in independent studies, classes, workshops and plein air painting for the past 10 years. A member of Ottawa Art Assoc. West Carleton Art Assoc. and the Nepean Fine Arts League, she has been participating in group and solo shows since 2002. Her work can be viewed at http://www.janisfultonart.com/ |
